Grandma's Visit and Cats

My mom came for a visit this weekend to pick up the kitten again for Great-grandma. We really enjoyed the time with her! Last year we bought some beautiful Ragdoll cats. This week two more of our cats had kittens! We have 13 kittens now! While she was here, Mom helped us get some good pictures of them. Taking pictures of cats is not easy! Thanks to my Mom, David, Ben, and Sarah, we got some great photos!

While she was here, Jacob was showing off and trying to impress her with his vast knowledge. They were talking about holidays. He let her know that holidays are important because they stand for Jesus. Grandma corrected him. "Not every holiday stands for Jesus. Like Halloween." Jacob was quick to reply, "Yeah?! Well, last year we went to the CHURCH for Halloween and the people at the CHURCH gave us candy!"

This week we are getting new carpet. I am starting to regret that decision already. Alex has developed a passion for painting with peanut butter. Also, I found a REAL working firetruck for on craigslist for only $2000. Wouldn't that be amazing?! I am going to call the DMV today to see what kind of special license we need to drive it!
