What a great day it has been! We went to a wild bird sanctuary with my mom in the morning. We saw wild birds, snakes, and even bats. Jacob was fascinated by this one eagle. He kept staring at it. The eagle would make a barking noise, and Jacob would bark right back. The naturalist held it and brought it closer to us. We really enjoyed learning more about the birds. In the visitors center, the kids got to pet a burmese python and a boa constrictor. Then, we went to Lone Elk Park. We got to see several Elk and Bison with their new babies. In the afternoon, we went to a Goodwill that lets you buy things by the pound. David found a couch for only $2. He was very disappointed when I wouldn't let him buy it. It was funny to see how crazy people would get when new items were brought out. They would push and yell. One woman grabbed a rug right out of my mom's hands! We got a whole cart load of things for only $20. In the evening, LaMonte and I went to the temple. It felt so good to be there together. One woman told us we looked like newlyweds. It was a busy, wonderful day. I have been blessed with such a good life.
